About the Role:

Join our fast-paced and well-funded iGaming startup as a Game Developer specializing in JS and Cocos Creator! We are targeting the global mobile app market and seeking a talented individual to join our young, dynamic, and international team. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in game development and modification using the Cocos Engine, specifically Cocos Creator. With our focus on the mobile iGaming industry, you will also gain exposure to mobile app releasing compliance and policies.

Responsibilities:

• Create and implement game mechanics, features, and systems using the Cocos Creator framework
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to release game applications on the mobile app market
• Debug and fix issues to ensure a smooth gaming experience
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in game development
• Contribute to the development of best practices and coding standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field
• 2 to 3 years of experience in game development using Cocos Creator
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript
• Proficiency in using Cocos Creator tools and frameworks
• Familiarity with mobile and web game development
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• Familiarity with WebSocket and HTTP networking protocols, and understanding of data protocols such as JSON and Protobuf
• Ability to handle various browser compatibility issues in web development
• Candidates with IO type game development experience will have an advantage
• Immediately available is highly preferred
