About the Client:
Our client is a top-selling phone case brand and a global technology leader committed to innovation and growth.
They are looking for an IT Support Specialist that has a Self-motivated and customer centric mindset responsible for monitoring system health, identifying and implementing solutions, and developing training documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor the IT system health status, network performance, and security control.
- Break down Tier 1 incidents to identify problems that frequently occur at the service desk, identify and implement solutions, and develop training documentation in the form of Knowledge Base articles for both end-users and IT internal processes/defects/configuration.
- Become the subject matter expert (SME) for specific business applications, as well as the go-to person for the rest of the application support team.
- Provide after-hours support necessary for high priority issues with critical business applications.
- Manage system outages and impairments to quickly identify the root cause and coordinate the resolution between the infrastructure and development teams.
- Assist in the development and control of the annual IT operating and capital expenditure budget in line with OPI strategic objectives.
- Work with third-party vendors to resolve system issues for externally hosted systems or core functionalities of a SaaS application.
- Perform IT helpdesk support including call handling, follow-up action, coordination, and escalation.
- Other duties as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field preferred. ITIL, CompTIA+, Service Management, or HDI certifications are a plus.
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a Service Desk Environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office®, especially Excel® and PowerPoint®, and current Windows operating systems. Knowledge of Mac OS and related Apple devices is desirable.
- Familiarity with Active Directory users and groups as well as Exchange mailboxes and Outlook in Office365.
- Experience with WebEx, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Power BI, and Salesforce would be desirable.
- Ability to quickly learn new programs and develop a high level of troubleshooting proficiency.
- Effective time management skills ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Capable of communicating effectively to a variety of internal & external stakeholders.
- Fluent written & verbal English and Chinese is required.
