Underwriter (SME, General Insurance) 35k

Our client:

Our client is a world-leading financial services company. To cope with the rapid development of the business, they are looking for an experienced underwriter to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• To devise and implement effective underwriting control procedures

• Ensure customer service standards about timeliness and accuracy of underwriting services are met

• Ensure underwriting consistency, discipline and adherence to all corporate guidelines and delegated authority levels

• Maintain co-operative contact with other relevant functions and LOBs

• Assist in new product development

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in general insurance

• Degree holder in any disciplines

• Qualifications in business or finance with the ANZIIF qualification preferred

• Strong analytical, technical and negotiation skills

• Results-driven and service-oriented; be proactive and innovative in offering solutions

• Excellent command of written and spoken English & Mandarin; Cantonese would be a distinct advantage
