Telemarketing Team Lead (General Insurance) - 45k

About our client:

Our client is a well-established insurance corporation with headquarter in the USA and presence globally.  Its life insurance operation in Hong Kong offers a wide range of life protection, savings, accident and health insurance solutions.  To cope with their business expansion, they are currently looking for experienced telemarketing team lead professional to drive the business growth.

 Key Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to identify and capture the business opportunities as well as optimize leads management to increase sales revenue
• Manage the telemarketing team with effective coaching, resources utilization and call center best practices to enhance team productivity in achieving sales target
• Collaborate with internal product teams to provide real time market feedback and customer needs for planning the future product design
• Derive and reinforce proper operation procedures to ensure the compliance with the company guidelines and related regulatory requirements
• Monitor the telemarketing team daily results and generate relevant reports to the management and business partners in a timely and effective manner
• Actively provide feedback and inputs for effective incentive scheme design

Requirements:

• Form 7 graduate or above, University graduate is preferable
• At least 6 years practical sales experience in telemarketing industry, preferably with relevant supervisory experience
• Holder of professional qualification of IIQE (Paper 1, 2, 3. Paper 5 is preferable)
• Extensive knowledge of insurance products and services
• Tactful and outgoing personality and able to motivate sales with strong presentation, interpersonal and selling skills
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Chinese Word Processing
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, proficiency in Mandarin would be an advantage
