Position Overview
An innovative global leader in design-driven product manufacturing and international export is seeking an operationally sharp, cross-border professional to join our regional hub as an Assistant Finance Manager. This is a highly hands-on, multi-entity role tailored for an independent finance professional eager to gain deep global exposure. You will oversee the complete financial ecosystem across 6 international group entities, managing multi-currency data, spearheading management reporting, and aligning regional compliance workflows across diverse international markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Global Multi-Entity Management: Oversee and successfully execute the monthly and year-end close processes for 6 international group entities across different geographic jurisdictions.
- Management Reporting & Analysis: Prepare accurate monthly management reporting packages, financial statements, variance analyses, and operational KPIs to provide clear visibility and strategic insights to regional senior executives.
- Full-Cycle Ledger Control: Maintain the absolute integrity of financial data with live, real-time booking of international commercial transactions, including global purchases, receipts, cross-border sales, and supplier payments.
- Cross-Border Cash Flow & Reconciliations: Perform daily multi-currency bank, credit card, and intercompany account reconciliations to ensure fluid international treasury operations.
- Global Supply Chain Logistics Control: Process and manage complex inventory receipts, asset transfers, and international import/shipping documentation.
- International Taxation & Compliance: Assist in preparing and lodging regional operational tax filings across various global tax frameworks (including BAS, VAT, and Sales Tax).
- International Audit Coordination: Act as the primary window to support external accountants or global auditors, ensuring all statutory and management reporting requirements meet international compliance standards.
Requirements
- Education: Degree or Higher Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of solid experience in general accounting. Strong hands-on experience in full-set accounting, month-end closing, and corporate management reporting is required. Prior exposure to global trading or handling multi-currency/multi-entity structures is highly preferred.
- Systems: Highly proficient in advanced Excel functions (for data analysis and management reporting templates). Hands-on experience with MYOB, MYOB Advanced, or other mainstream cloud accounting platforms commonly used in Hong Kong (such as Xero or QuickBooks) is required.
- Languages: Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin to present financial results to global stakeholders and supply chain partners.
- Attributes: Self-motivated, culturally aware, structurally independent, and capable of working autonomously under tight global reporting timelines.
