About our client:

Our client is a globally renowned multinational firm, headquartered in Hong Kong with 100 countries and regions and established for over 130 years. They are looking for an experienced employee relations manager to join their team.

The successful candidates will be a vital link between employees and management and facilitate and manage employee relations on behalf of the company.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide advice and support to all levels of employees on HR matters
  • Manage and coordinate with all activities related to employee wellness, well-being & recreation
  • Coordinate and execute various employee engagement, employee relations programs and activities
  • Assist in office administrative duties such as general administrative support, office supplies & inventory, maintenance works for office facilities, internal & external communication
  • Advises and trains managers and supervisors in best employee relations practices and strategies for managing supervisor problems and employee grievances
  • Represents organization in contract negotiations, meetings, and negotiations with employee and labor organizations.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the superiors

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Human Resources / Business /Management discipline
  • Minimum 6 years of HR experience in a sizable organization preferably gained in retail/F&B sector
  • Knowledge of local employment law, well-versed in Labour Ordinance and other HR related ordinance
  • Good team player, detail-minded, analytical, strong problem-solving skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Chinese Word Processing
