About our client:

Our client is a leading woven textile conglomerate in China looking for a Policy and Market Researcher, Senior Manager to join their growing policy research team.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of thought-provoking insights through case studies, news, policies
  • Produce Leadership journals and expert interviews, with particular focus on China
  • Produce high-quality written outputs, combined with a deep understanding of both the history and current geopolitical landscapes
  • Pitch story ideas, feature writing, conduct interviews and related research on topics to provide context
  • Coordinate and collaborate with different sector teams on thematic research reports
  • Develop and managing platforms for disseminating research outcomes

Requirements:

  • University degree in economics, finance, journalism, social science, political science or related disciplines
  • Minimum 8 years experience in publishing and presenting
  • Strong research project management skills
  • Be able to work independently and collaborate/ communicate with different stakeholders to undergo research studies in various topics
  • Excellent English (& Chinese, ideally) writing proficiency with the ability to address points of view and research reports that bring insights to life for C-suite audience.
  • Good presentation skills to present the ideas, findings and reports precisely, concisely, and convincingly to the senior management team
  • Maintain an external network of relevant industry experts
  • Travelling is required
