Legal Counsel

Job Responsibilities:

• Work with business managers and other in-house legal teams to ensure successful operations in compliance with applicable laws and regulations and ensure global consistency with corporate policies and procedures
• Coordinating and handling regional projects
• Identify legal issues and provide legal solutions
• Legal support to the Regional General Counsel and other legal counsels in business projects
• Liaise with external professionals and other regulatory bodies

Job Requirements:

• Law degree holder from a recognized university
• Qualified lawyer admitted to Hong Kong or in any other jurisdiction
• Minimum 5 years working experience (including the period of traineeship or equivalent legal training) in corporate and commercial transactions, preferably with experience in advising multi-national companies with operations in Pan Asia region including the Greater China region and handling projects
• Solid experience in handling projects and advising business units independently
• Good time management, well organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, mature, independent & good interpersonal skill
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
• Strong analytical skills, able to work both independently and as a team player
• Willing to travel on a regular basis
