About the Client

Our client is a well-established company that provides professional Hong Kong life service consultation and information guidance to clients from Mainland China. The services include immigration, medical service, education and real estate, etc. To cope with their business expansion, they are currently looking for a highly motivated and experienced Education Consultant to assist their Mainland clients in finding suitable schools and providing guidance on education and study arrangements in Hong Kong.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough consultations with Mainland clients to understand their educational needs and goals
• Assess clients' academic requirements, preferences and aspirations, recommend suitable schools and study arrangements in Hong Kong
• Conduct comprehensive research on schools in Hong Kong, including their academic programs, extracurricular activities, admission criteria, and reputation
• Provide clients with accurate and latest Hong Kong education policies and regulations
• Evaluate and shortlist schools based on clients' preferences and requirements
• Assist clients in preparing application materials, such as transcripts, recommendation letters and personal statements to ensure compliance with school requirements
• Provide guidance and support throughout the application process, including interview preparation and mock interviews, as well as liaise with schools / educational institutions to facilitate the enrolment process
• Advise clients on various study arrangements, such as boarding options, study abroad programs, and provide information on scholarship opportunities, financial aid, etc. to support clients' educational endeavours
• Help clients navigate the cultural and logistical aspects of studying in Hong Kong, including accommodation, transportation, and visa procedures
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, schools and relevant stakeholders in the education sector
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of services to clients

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Counselling, or related field
• Proven solid experience as an Education Consultant or similar role, preferably with expertise in the Hong Kong education system
• Sound knowledge of international and local school curricula, admission procedures, and educational pathways
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with diverse clients and stakeholders
• Keep abreast of industry trends through professional networks, educational conferences, workshops and networking events
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client cases simultaneously
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Proficiency in using educational software, databases, and online resources
• Flexibility to work outside regular office hours and travel when required
