CFO

About our client:

Our client is a listed company that is looking for a well-organized and analytical Chief Financial Officer to manage company's investment portfolio and oversee the finance department.

The CFO will provide insight and direction for the overall company development.

To excel in this position, you will possess a sound understanding on corporate finance, M&A, demonstrate excellent communication skills (written and verbal), and maintain a strong professional work ethic.

Responsibilities:

• Support the management in implementing strategic business plans, yearly plan and tax strategies, capital requests and budgeting processes, cash balances and cash forecasts, fund investment and performance measures to support the strategic direction
• Set up comprehensive financial management system in the company and formulate various processes, systems, norms and related management documents
• Analyze the overall company's financial status, and conduct consistent and timely assessments of business activities for decision making
• Lead the investment strategy unit within the company.
• Prepare clear and well-informed investment recommendations based on thorough research and analysis.
• Evaluate company performance versus the external environment and competitors in areas such as financial performance and market share, in order to identify potential business opportunities and support business expansion
• Attend annual meetings, review quarterly financial statements, and remain up-to-date with any important valuation or policy changes.

Requirements:

• A degree in finance or a relevant field from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 10 years related experience.
• Strong experience leading, supervising, and motivating a team of investment professionals.
• Strategic thinker and proficient in decision-making.
• Ability to communicate effectively and in a professional manner.
