Role Overview:

As the Sales Director, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and leading our sales strategy. Your primary focus will be on identifying new business opportunities, building and nurturing client relationships, and developing compelling sales pitches and proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets across our portfolio of publications
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new revenue streams and expansion opportunities
  • Forge strong relationships with key clients and industry influencers to secure new business and maintain a robust sales pipeline
  • Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to create engaging sales presentations and collateral
  • Monitor sales performance, track key metrics, and provide data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making
  • Contribute to the overall business strategy and long-term growth plans of the organization

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years of progressive sales experience in the media or publishing industry
  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Familiarity with digital media sales and marketing strategies is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
