Job Overview:

The Head of HR will be responsible for leading the human resources function for the Corporation, with a focus on developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs that support the achievement of business goals and objectives. The HR Director will work closely with the CEO and senior leadership team to provide strategic guidance and counsel on all HR-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the company's business goals and objectives.
  • Partner with the CEO and senior leadership team to identify and address key HR challenges and opportunities, including talent acquisition, retention, and development, workforce planning, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Lead and manage the HR team, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure the delivery of high-quality HR services.
  • Develop and implement talent management programs, including succession planning, leadership development, and performance management, to ensure that the company has the talent it needs to achieve its business goals.
  • Oversee the design and administration of compensation and benefits programs that attract, retain, and motivate employees.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders, including vendors, consultants, and regulatory agencies, to ensure that the company is up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to HR, including employment law, data privacy, and diversity and inclusion.
  • Provide thought leadership on HR-related matters, including workforce trends, employee engagement, and organizational culture, to inform and shape the company's overall strategy.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 20 years of progressive experience in human resources, with at least 10 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
