Art Director (Apparel & Textile)- 120K

Our client is an innovative and sustainable textile and apparel manufacturer based in Hong Kong. They are one of the world's largest woven shirt manufacturers, as well as a key supplier of textile to major global brands.

They are searching for a creative and business-minded individual to head their design team in developing new creative concepts and sales strategies for their products in various markets.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate strategic thinking & overall artistic leadership when developing creative concepts for new products.
  
• Communicate and collaborate closely with marketing team and stakeholders to facilitate the creative process
  
• Lead the designer team in creating the creative collection & initiatives while taking financial implications into account.
  
• Create and develop visual merchandising strategy and execution plans for retail point of sale locations in various markets.
  
• Work with supply chains and other divisions to align the product development cycle.
  
• Work closely with marketing and commercial teams in establishing marketing plans and compelling content for opportunities in different markets.

Requirement:

• Degree in Art and Design; Fashion and Creative or any related disciplines
• Minimum 10 years of creative design experience; Preferably over 5+ years leading the creative direction from concept development to production management, with exposure to visual arts and multimedia.
• Familiarize with markets in the Asia region, especially China
• Fluent in English and Mandarin (Writing and Speaking)
