Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Senior Manager to join their Central Technical Services Team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical advice and support in design, specifications and tender documentation for engineering related systems and provisions for development projects in compatibility of statutory requirements.

The role will also involve exploring new technologies/industries latest practices and implementing them in appropriate projects, reviewing development design and tender documentation relating to building services, energy optimization and life cycle assessment

in project design stage, conducting quality review of workmanship of on-site works, liaising with public utility companies to explore collaboration opportunities in appropriate projects, and assisting in preparing business plans for the division.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical advice and support for the design, specifications, and tender documentation of engineering-related systems and provisions for development projects, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry best practices and implement them in relevant projects.
  • Review development designs and tender documentation related to building services, energy optimization, and life cycle assessment in the project design stage.
  • Conduct quality reviews of on-site workmanship to ensure adherence to standards.
  • Collaborate with public utility companies to explore partnership opportunities in appropriate projects.
  • Assist in preparing business plans for the division.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Building Services, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Corporate membership in professional institutions such as HKIE, IMechE, CIBSE, or IET.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in design practices and project management with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Familiarity with government ordinances and regulations related to engineering projects.
  • Solid practical knowledge and experience in BIM.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Cantonese.
