About our client:

Our client, a leading multinational corporation managing fine and decorative art, jewellery, and collectibles in 40 countries, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR professional to join their team. 

As an Assistant HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive HR services to various internal client groups. 

Collaborating closely with regional and global counterparts, you will contribute to the development and implementation of people solutions, talent management strategies, and operational excellence initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact, delivering end-to-end HR account services to business units, aligning people and business strategies to achieve organizational goals.
  • Provide a wide range of HR services to business units, including recruitment, manpower planning, talent management, staff issues, performance management, and organizational development.
  • Review HR policies and procedures and offer relevant HR advice to line managers.
  • Advise on employer branding, staff retention strategies, and HR best practices.
  • Support annual HR budgeting and allocation, ensuring alignment with manpower strategy, bonus and salary review plans, and annual budgeting.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancement and propose HR improvement plans.
  • Prepare and compile comprehensive manpower management reports.
  • Handle ad hoc projects as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant HR experience.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced international environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a proven ability to see projects through to completion.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to a variety of responsibilities.
  • Calm under pressure, with a practical approach and a willingness to learn.
  • In-depth knowledge of HK Labour Ordinance; broader APAC knowledge would be advantageous.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with SAP or other databases is a plus.
  • Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin languages.
