Financial Analyst

Our client:

Our client is a listed communication technologies enterprise with over 1000 employees in Hong Kong. They are looking for Finance Analyst/ Accountant to join their finance team.

As the successful candidate, you will be a key member of the finance team, work closely with experts from different areas of the business as well as responsible for the financial analysis of the business and investment performance.

What will you do?

• Review business cases and ensure investments are properly justified

• Analyze actual performance against approved business cases for major investment projects

• Develop analytics tools for regular tracking, analysis and data integration from various sources

• Participate in business and financial system enhancement project

• Liaise with various teams for the completion of financial reports, annual reports

• Prepare quarterly forecasts and annual budget for a business unit

• Perform ad hoc projects or analysis as required

Who we are looking for?

• Degree holder in Accounting or Business related disciplines

• At least 3 years working experience, preferably with project evaluation, financial planning and analysis or related experience

• Student member or member of professional Accounting bodies (e.g. ACCA, HKICPA)

• Detail-minded, able to handle data and conduct analysis independently

• Strong financial modeling, analytical, problem solving and report writing skills

• Good commend of MS Excel and Powerpoint

• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese

• Big 4 is preferred
