About the client:

Our client is a main contractors that is looking for a individual with civil engineer experience to support senior management in different projects

Job Highlights:

  • - Professional certification (MHKIE or equivalent) in Civil Engineering
  • - Extensive experience of 15 years after obtaining professional qualification

  • - Responsible for overseeing project management, monitoring progress, and controlling costs
  • - Proficient in construction contracts, particularly NEC contracts
  • - Solid understanding of safety and environmental management

Responsibilities:

  • - Support Senior Management in project management, including cash-flow, progress monitoring, and contractual matters.
  • - Supervise the overall planning, work progress, quality and safety, and cost control of large-scale civil projects.
  • - Lead the preparation of method statements and tender submissions.
  • - Ensure adherence to construction contracts, with a specific focus on NEC contracts.
  • - Utilize BIM applications to improve project efficiency and effectiveness.
  • - Manage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project completion.
  • - Provide guidance and assistance to team members, ensuring adherence to project timelines and objectives.
  • - Maintain a strong emphasis on safety and environmental management throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • - Professional certification (MHKIE or equivalent) in Civil Engineering.
  • - Qualified Authorized Signatory (AS) certification is highly advantageous.
  • - Minimum of 15 years of experience after obtaining professional qualification, with at least 10 years as a Project Manager for a main contractor (or Construction Manager in NEC contracts).
  • - Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Construction Manager or Site Agent using NEC contracts, or accreditation as a Project Manager with overall responsibilities for infrastructure works.
  • - Familiarity with BIM applications is a plus.
  • - Strong management and interpersonal skills.
  • - Practical experience in construction techniques.
