AI Engineer

Our Client: A leading financial firm undergoing a firmwide AI transformation. They are building a brand-new, high-impact Equity Research AI team to revolutionize market intelligence across Hong Kong, Singapore, and Shanghai.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the core architect of intelligence, designing, fine-tuning, and implementing LLMs, machine learning models, and NLP pipelines.
• Develop advanced architectures (such as RAG systems and agentic workflows) to parse and extract insights from massive volumes of unstructured global market data.
• Optimize model performance, latency, and scalability to transition concepts into robust, high-impact production systems.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of specialized experience in Machine Learning, NLP, or Generative AI engineering (open to senior/lead levels).
• Mainland China backgrounds are highly welcome, with a strong preference for alumni from premier institutions like Tsinghua University, Fudan University, or Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
• No prior finance background required; technical excellence from pure tech companies, specialized AI labs, or high-growth startups is the primary focus.
• Deep expertise in Python and modern frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, LangChain/LlamaIndex).
• Bilingual fluency in English and Chinese is highly preferred.
