Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) Manager to oversee the daily function and staffing of our high-acuity Medical Telemetry unit. The Manager will ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and operationalize evidence-based practices to enhance patient safety and quality outcomes.
Key Leadership Responsibilities
- Clinical Oversight: Monitor and evaluate nursing care delivery, ensuring adherence to established policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Quality & Outcomes: Help create a superior clinical identity by operationalizing evidence-based practices and supporting the achievement of internal/external benchmarks.
- Patient Experience: Provide leadership in attaining and sustaining an unparalleled patient experience. Review feedback and implement strategies to elevate customer satisfaction.
- Staff Management: Manage staff scheduling and maintain staffing levels according to patient care needs. Provide coaching, feedback, and training to develop employees and resolve employee grievances.
- Financial Management: Manage operating expenses, identify cost reduction opportunities, and implement actions to achieve savings.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of RECENT (within the last year) Acute Care Leadership experience. (We will accept CNC, House Supervisor, or Charge Nurse experience.)
- Total RN Experience: 5+ years of total Registered Nurse experience.
- Licensure: Currently licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) in the state(s) of practice and/o have an active compact license.
- Certifications:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained by the date of hire.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree (Minimum Education).
Compensation & Support
- Sign-On Bonus/Relocation: Considered on a case-by-case basis.
- Direct Report: This position reports to the Director of Acute Care.
- Support System: Supported by Charge Nurses and peer managers.
- Benefits: Full-time benefits are offered
