Job Summary

The Head of IT and Web Support will lead the IT and web support team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information technology, web development, and team management. He will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the IT and web support department, ensuring the smooth functioning of the systems and websites. The Group Head of IT/Web Support will also be responsible for implementing and maintaining best practices in IT infrastructure and web development, as well as managing a team of IT professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the IT and web support team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to team members.
  • Develop and implement strategies for improving IT infrastructure and web development processes.
  • Oversee the maintenance and security of all company websites, ensuring they are up-to-date and functioning properly.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify IT and web support needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, ensuring they meet our standards and requirements.
  • Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and trends in IT and web development and make recommendations for their adoption.
  • Monitor and analyze IT and web support metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Plan and manage the IT and web support budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
  • Handle escalated IT and web support issues and incidents, providing timely resolution and communication to stakeholders.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within IT and web support, with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong technical expertise in IT infrastructure, network administration, software development, and web technologies.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a track record of motivating and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align IT and web support initiatives with organizational objectives and priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change and innovation, with a passion for leveraging technology to drive business value.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards in IT and web development.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, PMP, ITIL, or relevant vendor certifications are a plus.
