Software QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Developers and the Product Manager during software testing activities across all allocated projects

• Review and analyze system specifications

• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results

• Deeply understanding the already developed features and create the test scenarios for it

• Design and create test cases &test plans for assigned projects

• Responsibility for the definition and execution of manual functional and UAT based tests on each allocated project

• Report any project related issues which affect QA testing

• Should take responsibility on the quality of the product

• Carry out test cases for each sprint in the scrum process to maintain the stable product

• Suggest new tools and processes to be rolled out in QA where needed

• Communicate daily with the wider project team regarding project status

Skills and Requirements

• 2-3 years experience
• Any Software Testing Certification 

• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role

• Experience in performing functional, non-functional and end to end testing

• Hands on experience in Web and mob application testing with multiple projects

• Required different platforms and domain experience

• Required experience in API and DB testing

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a team

• Should have knowledge about the scrum process and Agile methodology

• Knowledge in SQL server System Testing, Acceptance testing, Regression Testing and Exploratory Testing SQL Server Ability to Test the web application based on the provided SRS, BRD, User story

• Experience of using defect reporting tools such as JIRA, and Zephyrand other tools

• Expertise in writing and executing manual scripts

• Expertise in Testcase, test scenario & Test plan

• Understanding of cucumber, selenium and J-meter etc. Or any other automation tools will be advantage.

• A good working knowledge of test management software, programming languages, and QA methodologies.

• Good team working and critical thinking skills

• Good knowledge and experience on SDLC ,STLC & ALM

• Familiarity with AI-powered testing tools and platforms for test case generation, test maintenance, defect prediction, and test optimization.
