About the job Global Advice Manager
About Hoxton Wealth
Hoxton Wealth is a global financial planning firm with over $4 billion in client assets and offices across the UK, US, Cyprus, Dubai, South Africa, Australia and Asia. We combine cross-border tax expertise with proprietary technology to deliver financial planning to expats and internationally-mobile clients in every major market.
The Role
We're hiring a Global Advice Manager to lead the development of our advisers across multiple jurisdictions. You'll own the structure, standards and progression that take advisers from newly qualified through to senior independent practice, working directly with the Global Director of Advisory to shape how we build advice capability globally.
This is a hands-on role, not a head-office function. You'll know each adviser, their pipeline, their development gaps and their next step.
Key Responsibilities
- Adviser development: design and deliver training, mentorship and structured progression for the people in your team
- Performance management: own adviser KPIs, run regular reviews, set objectives and intervene early where progress stalls.
- Onboarding: integrate new joiners into Hoxton's processes, technology stack and advice standards from day one.
- Advice quality: ensure advice output meets firm standards across jurisdictions, working with compliance and T&C to close capability gaps.
- Process design: build scalable workflows that work across multiple offices, time zones and regulatory regimes.
- Leadership input: feed insight on adviser capability, pipeline health and training needs into senior decisions on hiring, structure and regional strategy.
What We're Looking For
- Proven track record of delivering financial advice and working with clients in your own right
- A track record developing financial advisers, within an international or cross-border practice is an advantage but not necessity
- Strong working knowledge of financial planning standards and at least one major regulatory regime (FCA, DFSA, SEC, or equivalent).
- Credibility to coach experienced advisers and patience to develop those earlier in their career.
- Comfortable operating across time zones and cultures - this role spans every region we work in.
- Diploma-level qualification (Level 4) as a minimum; chartered status or equivalent is an advantage.
What We Offer
- Direct influence over the talent engine of a fast-growing global firm.
- Close working relationship with the CEO and senior leadership on strategy and structure.
- Exposure across every market we operate in - the role is genuinely global.
- Competitive base, performance bonus and the standard benefits package for your location.
- Flexibility on base location across our office network.
