Responsibilities
- Proactively reaching out to potential merchants leads through cold calls to introduce our products/services and generate interest.
- Establish rapport with merchants to understand their needs and pain points, fostering long-term relationships.
- Assess the suitability of leads for further sales efforts, ensuring alignment with our target market.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and update lead status to track progress and follow-ups.
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition of qualified leads for direct sales penetration.
- Provide insights and feedback from merchant interactions to help refine our approach and improve overall sales strategies.
- Meet or exceed weekly and monthly call quotas and lead conversion targets.
Requirements
- Proven 1-2 years experience in telesales or a similar sales role, preferably in a B2B environment
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong persuasive abilities and a customer-centric mindset
- Familiarity with lead management tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
