Position Overview

We are expanding our remote team and looking for motivated individuals interested in developing professional experience within the travel and hospitality industry. As a Travel Industry Specialist, you will support clients with researching, organizing, and coordinating vacation arrangements while learning how different travel products, suppliers, and reservation resources work together.

This position combines customer communication, travel research, reservation assistance, and organization. You may work with clients planning cruises, resort stays, family vacations, couples getaways, group trips, tours, celebrations, and domestic or international experiences.

Prior travel industry experience is not necessary. Training, supplier education, professional resources, and ongoing mentorship are available to help you develop the knowledge needed for the role.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Communicate with clients to learn about their upcoming travel plans and expectations
  • Gather essential information including travel dates, destinations, number of travelers, interests, and budget considerations
  • Research vacation possibilities using approved travel and supplier resources
  • Locate accommodations, cruises, transportation, tours, excursions, attractions, and packaged travel options
  • Compare available products based on client priorities, availability, and requested features
  • Provide relevant information that helps travelers understand their available choices
  • Assist clients with coordinating selected vacation services
  • Complete reservation-related tasks using authorized supplier platforms
  • Confirm that traveler information and booking details are entered correctly
  • Prepare and organize confirmations, schedules, itinerary information, and other trip details
  • Keep track of important booking dates, outstanding selections, and upcoming requirements
  • Follow up with clients when additional information or decisions are required
  • Respond to routine questions regarding existing reservations and upcoming trips
  • Assist with applicable booking modifications, updates, and special requests
  • Coordinate with supplier partners regarding reservation questions and travel services
  • Maintain professional communication through phone, email, messaging, and virtual platforms
  • Document client activity, booking information, and relevant communications
  • Stay informed about destinations, supplier products, travel promotions, and industry developments
