Position Overview
We are seeking personable, organized individuals who enjoy connecting with people and helping them navigate their vacation choices. As a Journey Relations Advisor, you will work closely with clients to understand what they want from their time away, introduce them to suitable options, and assist with coordinating the arrangements they choose.
The clients you assist may be planning everything from a relaxing all-inclusive escape or cruise to a family vacation, couples retreat, international adventure, group getaway, guided experience, or special celebration.
What You'll Be Doing
- Develop professional relationships with prospective and returning clients
- Learn about each client's interests, expectations, preferred dates, and spending range
- Help clients explore destinations and vacation styles that match their goals
- Research accommodations, resorts, cruise sailings, transportation, activities, tours, and other requested services
- Compare available experiences and determine which selections align with client priorities
- Present personalized suggestions in a clear and helpful manner
- Explain relevant vacation features, services, inclusions, and general requirements
- Guide clients through the selection process and answer routine questions
- Arrange chosen services through authorized supplier and reservation platforms
- Review booking information to confirm traveler details and dates are correct
- Maintain clear records of conversations, selections, and confirmed arrangements
- Stay in contact with clients regarding next steps and outstanding items
- Track important reservation milestones and payment requirements
- Share useful information as clients prepare for departure
- Assist with common booking updates or adjustment requests
- Continue developing knowledge of vacation products, destinations, and supplier offerings
Candidate Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
- Customer-focused and comfortable working directly with clients
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Organized approach to managing information and responsibilities
- Detail-oriented when reviewing client and reservation information
- Comfortable researching and comparing online options
- Able to explain information clearly without overwhelming the client
- Consistent with communication and follow-through
- Capable of balancing multiple client requests and timelines
- Self-directed and dependable in a remote work environment
- Comfortable with email, computers, and internet-based applications
- Open to learning new supplier platforms and reservation technology
- Reliable internet connection and compatible device
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must reside in the US, UK, Australia, Spain, Mexico, or another qualifying region
