Position Overview

We are looking for organized, enthusiastic individuals who enjoy researching destinations, coordinating details, and helping others create well-planned vacation experiences. As a Travel Planning Specialist, you will work with clients to understand their getaway ideas and assist with turning those ideas into organized arrangements.

This flexible remote opportunity is suitable for individuals from a variety of professional backgrounds. Previous travel-industry experience is not required. Training, supplier resources, and ongoing education are provided.

Responsibilities

  • Discuss destination ideas, preferred dates, vacation interests, and budget considerations with clients, then research accommodations, cruises, transportation, tours, activities, and packages that fit their requests.
  • Compare available options, provide helpful information, and assist clients with coordinating selected services through approved booking resources.
  • Organize reservation confirmations, schedules, itinerary details, and other important pre-departure information.
  • Stay in contact with clients, provide planning updates, answer routine questions, and assist with changes or special requests.
  • Review booking information for accuracy, maintain organized client records, and participate in continued supplier and destination education.
