Senior SAP FI Lead Consultant

We are closely working with various Government and Public Sector clients for their ongoing SAP implementation projects. We're SAP service partner and also strategic consulting partners for Salesforce, and Microsoft helping our clients with the right blend of strategy, consulting, and technology solutions for over 25 years.

We are currently looking to hire a lead SAP Finance Lead Consultant for one of our direct government client to help them with planning for SAP FI functionality advancements, automation, and help them prepare a roadmap and full blown migration plans for ECC6 to S/4 HANA Cloud that involves following job duties.

Job Description

• Become a part of HNIT's SAP project team to run discovery and exploration phase of SAP S/4 HANA Cloud migration plan for client.
• Work closely with project managers, architects and other client members.
• Excellent communication, written and interpersonal skills to independently lead meetings with senior management of our government client.
• Perform detailed examination of the current FI transactions/processes in ECC6, identify how they currently deliver business goals and how they can be improved in its future state of technology.
• Evaluate all current FI automation and integrations with other non SAP tools used by client, prepare comparison charts and recommend the best approach to replace, migrate or enhance them in S/4 HANA.
• Prepare implementation plan for involved FI processes and its implementation, migration and considerations for S/4 HANA Cloud.
• Prepare various documentations such as presentations, functionality comparison, process flow charts, reports, business process modernization, reports, risk analysis and more as needed during project phases.
• Demonstrate expert knowledge of implementing and configuring various FI functionalities such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Banks, Costing, Budgeting, Project Costing, Business Partners, and Consumer Loans and Interest Calculation, FI automation in ECC6 as well as S/4 HANA and its interface plans with 3rd party platforms used by client such as Salesforce and others.
• Clearly communicate game plan to stakeholders to earn their trust and help them taking confident decisions for the project.
• Manage all project deliverables within the time and budget deadlines. 
• Demonstrate advance level knowledge and understanding on SAP Consumer Mortgage Loan (CML), Insurance, Expenses and its advance reporting capabilities in ECC6 vs S/4 HANA
• Past experience of using Salesforce based non-SAP finance tools and its interface with SAP will be an asset
• Onsite travel is required to client location in Alberta with some remote work possibly.

Skills and Experience:

• 12+ years of SAP FI experience in ECC6 and 5+ years in SAP S/4 HANA

• Valid SAP FI certification in S/4 HANA Cloud is mandatory

• Past experience in Finance, Government and/or insurance industry will be an asset

• Past S/4 HANA migration experience for Finance is mandatory

• Past involvement in the large SAP environment will be an asset.

• Past experience with minimum 5 SAP full lifecycle projects in Canada.
