About the job Senior Finance Consultant - Oracle Netsuit experience
Our direct client is looking for Sr. Finance Accounting resource to work closely with the Finance team on a remote role with occasional OnDemand travel to work. The role is focusing on various aspects of accounting, including accounts payable, inventory costing, budget preparation, and international transfer pricing documentation. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in a financial environment, a professional designation (CA, CPA, CMA, or CGA), and proficiency with Oracle NetSuite experience ERP system.
Responsibilities
International transfer pricing documentation preparation, corporate tax, and statutory audits.,
Preparation of budgets and forecasts Inventory cost accounting reporting, and inventory reserve.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Accounting
Prepare any financial reporting, Budget, forecasts and weekly sales report.
Review and approve Promotion Approval Forms (PAF) for various divisions including MS category, Maintain log for PAF Expenses vs. Budgets
Preparation of supporting documents for annual tax returns, and pricing documentation
Enter data in tax system during year end
Enter PAF Claim in Oracle Net Suite Return Authorization and Bank Reconciliation
AP Invoice coding & data entry in Oracle NetSuite
Weekly EFT payment run to Vendors and staff, Notification to vendors/staff by email
Update Cash flow Rolling file and manage transfers to business investment account (BIA)
Petty Cash verification at month end
Prepare & post month end recurring Journal Entries , Corporate Tax, Purchases, Bank payment (Lease, Visa payment, BIA Trf. etc.)
Inventory Cost Accounting update inventory valuation by sku by warehouse in Oracle NetSuite based on Weight Average Cost at month-end .
Requirements
- Professional designation (CA, CPA, CMA or CGA) and 10 years + experience in finance
- Must have working knowledge of IT systems listed above as well as keep up to date on trends in the industry, experience with Oracle NetSuite is required, including advanced MS Excel skills
- Must have analytical and management skills, proven success in identifying and implementing accounting efficiencies
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Other Skills/Abilities
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word and Power point, etc.)
