An Independent 3 branch Veterinary Group based in Lancashire are now looking for a Small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a permanent basis

The position will suit applicants with some experience but who have a desire to focus on continued learning in a helpful and caring environment. They are a private veterinary practice and not associated with any large corporations. The roles may include some sole charge work at one or other of the satellite Surgeries, in conjunction with work in the supportive environment at the main site in Leigh. Consultations are by appointment only, 15 minutes. Longer consultations can be arranged by the Veterinary Surgeon as appropriate.

Position: Veterinary Surgeon

Locations: Wigan and Bolton Areas of Lancashire, with 3 self-contained branches in Leigh, Bolton, and Hindley.

• Full-time (40 hours) over 4, 4.5, or 5 days (negotiable options)
• Part-time hours considered
• Weekend rotation every 7 weeks
• No OOH (Out of Hours)

Person Requirements:

• Graduate in Veterinary Medicine
• Registered with the RCVS
• Suitable for recent graduates or experienced Vet Surgeons

Holidays and Reviews:

• 22 weekdays per calendar year + bank holidays
• Regular individual meetings for CPD and progress discussions
• Review meetings after the 1st week, 1st month, then every 3 to 4 months
