Job Summary

The position assists in implementing marketing strategies for the Brand, Marketing, and Digital organizations. Executing marketing, digital, and PR tasks as allocated in accordance with major projects and strategies. ensures that all operations are in line with marketing objectives and that properties are given the assistance required for the effective implementation of the marketing strategies throughout the region.

Qualifications & Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  2. 2-3 years previous experience in public relations, marketing, or communications roles, preferably in the hospitality or hotel industry.
  3. Familiarity with digital marketing strategies, including social media management, content creation, and online advertising.
  4. Strong working knowledge of key database systems and Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word) and proficiency in marketing software, social media platforms, and basic graphic design tools.
  5. Strong creative skills to develop innovative marketing campaigns and promotional materials. Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
  6. Strong interpersonal and networking skills to collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders. Ability to identify challenges and propose solutions to enhance the HMIs PR and marketing efforts.
  7. A keen understanding of the hotel company's brand identity and the ability to maintain brand consistency across all marketing materials.
  8. Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to changing marketing trends and customer preferences.
  9. Effective verbal and written communication skills in both English and Japanese (business level), facilitating clear and professional communication.

Responsibilities

  1. Promote awareness of HMIs brand both internally and externally
  2. Coordinating marketing campaigns and promotions, supporting regional, market, and hotel business objectives.
  3. Ensuring compliance with corporate advertising and marketing communications standards, brand guidelines, and coordinating estimates, projects, and material closings.
  4. Informing the team on appropriate digital media labeling, creative, and deployment.
  5. Overseeing the internal channel process for field marketing, ensuring timely and accurate marketing information reaches properties to meet guest expectations.
  6. Identify up-selling opportunities to enhance the HMI experience and encourage guests to purchase preview packages or tours.
  7. Building trusted working connections with external vendors, managing property's digital assets, assisting stakeholder interactions, and addressing customer complaints.
  8. Maintaining budgets for specific projects and handling invoicing.

  • Salary range for this position is between 5.5 Million YEN to 8 Million YEN/-P.A.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Commerce or related field
  • More than 5 years of experience in an equivalent or similar position within the hospitality industry
  • Good communication and analytical skills 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, Video and Photo Softwares.
  • Ability to communicate in Japanese and English (Written and Spoken)
  • Hotel Pre-opening/Rebranding experience is preferred
  • Marriotts/IHGs background is preferred
