Job Summary

Managing Housekeeping Operations and Budgets

  • AS Head of Housekeeping, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

・ General Housekeeping duties.

  • Adhere to hotel brand standards of cleaning and sanitation
  • Report and follow up on maintenance deficiencies and other defects
  • Inspection duties of service areas, warehouses and corridors
  • Equipment, inventory control and report reporting duties
  • Follow up on arrangements for VIP and other special requests
  • Housekeeping cost management

Supervises daily Housekeeping shift operations and ensures compliance with all housekeeping policies, standards and procedures.

Schedules employees to business demands and for tracks employee time and attendance.

Ensuring Exceptional Customer Service

・　Sets　a positive example for guest relations.

・ Understands the brands service culture.

・ Participates in the development and implementation of corrective action plans to improve guest satisfaction. 　　

・　Empowers employees to provide excellent customer service.

  • Responds to and handles guest problems and complaints.　　

Qualifications

  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major. Or 3 years experience in the housekeeping or related professional area.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Able to work well with others in a team environment.
  • Analytical skills and Attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate in Japanese and English (Written and Spoken)

  • Salary range for this position is between 5 Million YEN to 8 Million YEN/-P.A.
