THE JOB
Reporting to the Head Gymnastics Coach, the Assistant Gymnastics Coach (Rhythmic) will be responsible for the following duties:
- Provide training for elite and junior squads;
- Fully utilize and integrate scientific, medical and other athlete support services into the elite training programme to enhance elite training outcomes;
- Monitor the performance of athletes through comprehensive, multi-faceted and regular evaluations;
- Submit analytical progress reports to the head coach;
- Assist with the administration and coordination of logistics, accounting, coaching and team resources related to the training of Gymnastics squad, local and overseas;
- Assist to the coach education and development programmes for HKSI and The Gymnastics Association of Hong Kong; and
- Perform any other appropriate duties as assigned by supervisor.
THE REQUIREMENTS
- University degree or post-secondary Certificate/ Diploma, or its equivalent;
- Holder of a recognized coaching qualification equivalent to Hong Kong Coach Accreditation programme Level 2 Certificate;
- A minimum of 2 years' professional coaching experience in Gymnastics;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Emphasis on team work and fairness;
- High level of computer literacy; and
- Awareness/ knowledge of Child Protection in sport and equal opportunity issues in the context of Hong Kong are an added advantage.

主要職責
在體操總教練的監督下，助理體操教練(藝術體操)須向體操教練匯報工作情況，其職責詳列如下：
- 負責訓練精英及青少年運動員；
- 在進行青少年訓練計劃時，善用所有運動科學、醫療及其他為運動員而設的支援服務，以加強訓練成果；
- 透過全面性、多方位和定期評估，以監察運動員的表現；
- 提交適時及具分析性的進度報告予總教練；
- 在安排運動員於本地及海外集訓或比賽時，須協助統籌有關行政管理、後勤、會計及資源分配等工作；
- 協助體院及中國香港體操總會的教練培訓工作；
- 履行由上司所指派的任何適當工作；
申請資格
- 大學學位或大專證書/ 文憑，或同等學歷；
- 持有等同香港教練級別評定計劃第二級教練証書的資歷；
- 具備最少二年體操專業教練經驗；
- 具備良好溝通能力及人際關係；
- 注重團隊合作及公平；
- 熟悉電腦操作；
- 擁有急救證書及認識香港保護兒童及平等機會政策為佳。
