IT System Manager, Avaloq (Private Banking)

A fast-growing China-based Bank with its Group Company listed in Hong Kong is looking for a high-calibre IT System Manager to join her Business Platform Team of Private Banking.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute the launch of Avaloq System in Private Banking Division

• Monitor project schedules to ensure systems implemented effectively to drive business growth of the bank

• Responsible for the project management of related systems of Private Banking Division

• Formulate project plans, monitor project levels, assign project tasks and internal operation of projects

• Identify the users needs and analyze business requirements

• Identify and provide solutions with development team or vendor to manage problems

• Monitor the quality of functional specifications developed and quality of System Launch

• Perform UAT and keep track with its progress

• Ensure that project is delivered on-time, within scope and budget

• Developing project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

• Ensure resource availability and allocation

• Develop a detailed project plan to track progress

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Information Technology, Business Administration or related disciplines

• At least 7 years related experience in project management; with PMP and other project management qualification certificates is preferable

• Exposure of Avaloq or equivalent core banking system of Private Banking

• Experience in handing the User Acceptance Test (UAT)

• Analytical with sound communication skills, able to work effectively with business users and technical staff
• Extensive experience leading implementation projects in Private Banking
• Proficient on Leading core banking software Agile, scalable core platform
• Experience in the banking product & services within Private Banking, in particular in financial instruments and the associated operational processes

• Strong negotiation and organizational skills with possession of good problem-solving ability

• Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese, fluent in Putonghua is preferable.
