Operational Risk Manager, BCP (Banking)

A fast-growing China-based Bank in Hong Kong is looking for an Operational Risk Manager for coordinating BCP-related activities.

Responsibilities

• Liaise and collaborate with business units to organize, implement, and review the business continuity plans

• Lead to coordinate BCP related activities including Business Impact Analysis, Business Continuity Program review, BCP drill, and call tree, and follow-up issues noted during the activities and maintain test documentation

• Develop and review policies and guidelines on Business Continuity Planning to incorporate changes in organizational structure and regulatory requirements in a timely manner

• Provide support/response to Management during the crisis event as needed

• Review and update operational risk framework, reporting, and related policies and procedure

• Prepare statutory and management reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Banking, Finance, risk management, or related field

• minimum 4-6 years of experience in multiple areas including business continuity/resiliency management, and/or operational risk management from the banking industry

• BCM qualification or Certification in business continuity is preferred

• Familiar with the regulatory requirements of the banking industry

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work under pressure

• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua
