VP, Business Solutions (Life & Health Insurance)

A world-class leading insurance company is looking for a professional business development executive to develop clients on new technologies and propositions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new solutions on Sales Origination
  • Develop and implement the origination strategy for specific Solutions Products
  • Develop marketing strategies & business plan in delivering on fee-based income targets
  • Manage a structured pipeline of leads and opportunities across the market from planning to onboarding and delivery
  • Lead cross functional deal teams to successfully execute sales opportunities in our pipeline
  • Lead client engagement on sales opportunities including developing and delivering World Class pitch materials, agreeing commercial terms and overcoming sales obstacles
  • Takes structured approach to all pipeline opportunities and we adhere to all distribution compliance and governance requirements
  • Work with marketing and Solutions Product Development colleagues to develop an engaging Marketing strategy to promote our Solutions
  • Conduct Market research and client engagement to better understand our competitive edge and make specific recommendations to maximize our proposition
  • Provide input on client needs and recommend Product improvements with maximum commercial up-side for our Product roadmaps
  • Build new client and non-insurance segment relationships to expand the reach of the client Solutions franchise

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management Information Systems or related disciplines
  • At least 8 years of relevant working experience Sales and Origination in either banking & insurance, financial, technology or professional services with a track record of consistently delivering sales and revenue targets
  • Experience of L&H Insurance technology and risk management and know what it takes to convince clients to implement new technologies and propositions
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of go to market strategies and a flair for marketing in a B2B environment
  • You are an effective networker with good collaboration and influencing skills
  • Commercial account or market responsibility in B2B client service and/or Solutions technology or platform orientated business is a plus
  • Native or proficient English is a must, other Asian languages preferable
