A reputable China-based Bank in Hong Kong is hiring in her IT Dept

Responsibilities

• Oversee and be responsible to ensure BOCHK Big Data and AI platform architectures support the digital transformation initiatives of BOCHK
• Assess solution alternatives; define & design the best solution; and liaise with all parties concerned to drive for the implementation of relevant Big Data and AI platform solutions for BOCHK
• Assess solution alternatives; define and design the best solution; and liaise with all parties concerned to drive for the migration of relevant systems on to the implemented BOCHK Big Data and AI platform solutions
• Liaise with all applicable parties concerned such as BOCHK senior management; end users; and IT professionals; data scientists for the overall smooth and successful project implementations
• Oversee and ensure that proper and effective communications be conducted to all parties concerned for the ultimate successful implementation of digital transformation solutions for the BOCHK Cloud
• Provide thought leadership in BDA and AI platform solution arenas

Experience

• Undergraduate degree in Information Technology or related discipline; Business related degree may also be considered if applicant possesses solid IT industry project experience
• 12+ years of experience in IT industry with which 6+ years in BDA/AI projects
• Solid business knowledge and user experience in banking industry highly preferred
• Able to communicate effectively with non-IT users for relevant innovation projects surrounding big data and AI arenas
• Solid understanding and project experience of BDA and AI solutions, such as the following:
• BDA architecture patterns and AI patterns
• BDA and AI adoption patterns
• Data science and advanced analytics skills, such as the following:
  • Analytics language and tooling (such as R, Python, etc)
  • BDA; ML and DL frameworks (such as Tensorflow etc)
  • Etc
• BDA platform solution skills; such as the following:
  • Hadoop
  • MapReduce
  • Hive
  • HBase
  • MongoDB
  • etc
• Solid experience to work with large and diverse data sets of multiple types & formats from multiple sources
• Solid knowledge and project experience to cope with security aspects of BDA and AI platform architectures
• Solid knowledge and project experience to cope with operational and management aspects of BDA and AI platform architectures
• Solid knowledge of Software engineering and DevSecOps principles
• Strong analytical skills
• Knowledge of heritage banking system technical architecture
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good command in both written and spoken Chinese and English, proficiency of Mandarin is a plus
• Self-motivated and willing to work under pressure
