Financial Reporting Manager

A fast-growing life insurance company in Hong Kong, a provider of a wide range of life insurance and investment products for individual and corporate clients, is looking for a high caliber financial reporting manager to join their dynamic finance team.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing and managing the financial reporting process including the preparation of month end closing journal entries, reports and statutory returns for submission to HKIA in accordance with IFRS and HKFRS standard
• Ensuring compliance with all statutory, regulatory and IFRS requirements
• Analyzing, reviewing financial information and performance. Identifying trends and variances. Providing recommendations to senior management
• Maintaining finance system and validating system reports
• Liasing with cross-functional stakeholder throughout the financial reporting process

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree with minimum 5 years in Finance, Accounting, Audit or related discipline
• CPA or member of recognized professional accounting institutions is required
• Good understanding of IFRS 17 accounting knowledge
• Experiences in MPF, pension, fund of fund is highly advantageous
• Experience and knowledge in life insurance is preferrable
• Proficient in Microsoft office especially Microsoft Excel functions
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English and Chinese
• Candidate with more experiences will be considered as a team lead
