Responsibilities

  • The General manager is responsible for all aspects of operations at the hotel, day-to-day staff management and guests, between profitability and guest satisfaction measures.
  • He/She should be an ambassador for the brand.
  • Provide leadership and strategic planning to all departments in support of the service culture, maximized operations and guest satisfaction.
  • Responsible for managing the hotels management team and overall hotel targets to deliver an excellent guest experience.
  • Promote and market the business in such a way that the reputation of the hotel is uplifted and maintained.
  • Responsible for managing budgets and financial plans. He/she must analyse the sales figures on a regular basis and devise various marketing and management services etc.
  • He/she must remain in touch with all the departments and coordinate the activities.
  • Recruiting, training and monitoring of the staff of the hotel.
  • Ensure all the safety policies and norms are followed.

Requirements

  • Seasoned and highly intelligent hotel professional with outstanding, management skills and extensive hands-on experience.
  • At least 15 years' experience in the hospitality industry, with past experience in running a 5-star hotel.
  • Good experience in pre-opening, managing or re-positioning a hotel with clear track record.
  • Excellent communication skills in Cantonese, English and Mandarin.
