Client
A public-listed international group with manufacturing plants throughout the world.
Responsibilities
· Oversee daily operations, lead and support all the actions needed to improve the system in place.
· Responsible for health and safety and the environment of the factory, identify risks, driving down risks and the numbers of accidents and incidents on a year-on-year basis.
· Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, employee engagement and team leadership are a key focus.
· Manage the planning team to improve delivery performance, output maximization and inventory optimization.
· Drive the development of technical and leadership competence across the plant and the technical and social competence of the department heads and staff, building a culture which delivers company values.
· Play an active role in supporting purchasing to deliver key cost reductions and competitive pricing for raw materials and other purchased items.
· Responsibility for engineering, quality, supply chain and manufacturing.
· Prepare budgets, schedules and other administrative reports as needed.
· Drive KPI performance such as cost, efficiency, quality and accuracy.
· Assist leadership team in the development and formulation of long and short-range planning, policies, programs and objectives that promote company growth.
· Work closely with NPD in turning concepts into scalable product solutions.
Requirements
· Degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
· 10+ years’ of management experience in a similar leadership role, ideally in a manufacturing / engineering environment with multi-operational, high hardware SKU manufacturing environment.
· Lean or Six Sigma qualifications is a plus.
· Flexible, proactive and ability to work in a fast-pace environment.
· Fluent in spoken English and Mandarin.
· Willingness to travel away from home on a need-to basis.
