POSITION                Director

COMPANY              A leading and independent provider of restructuring, insolvency forensic accounting services.

LOCATION             Beijing/Shanghai

REPORT TO           General Manager

 

JOB SUMMARY

 -          The role as a Director includes the development and implementation of the business plan, collaboration with the firm's international network on complex cross-border matters, working with the local team and delivery of insolvency and restructuring assignments.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 -          Driving high-profile insolvency and restructuring assignments and investigations and complex cross-border matters, particularly across PRC, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, BVI and Cayman;

-          Delivering quality work product and a high level of client service;

-          Driving business and practice development;

-          Establishing and developing relationships with potential and current clients;

-          Promoting an insolvency/ restructuring firm and sourcing new work;

-          Managing an office and leading a team of professional staff and providing supervision and training; and participating in and leading global business initiatives.

 

REQUIREMENTS 

-          A minimum of 10 years' relevant work experience, including insolvency, restructuring and associated investigations;

-          A chartered accountant;

-          A bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, business administration or finance;

-          Existing network of legal, banking and fund contacts in shanghai and across PRC would be advantageous;

-          Highly motivated with a good business sense and commercial acumen;

-          Strong financial, business analytical and report writing skills;

-          Strong people management skills; and

-          Excellent communication skills (written and spoken).
