Job Summary
The Executive Analyst provides project-based support for the top management team. This role provides a broad exposure to business operations such as conducting research and project/task management. The Executive Analyst is required to be a highly organized, gatekeeper of the Executive Office time/activity management.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates a thorough understanding of business activities and initiatives through the effective management.
- Completes speech translation and interpretation when needed.
- Assists in arranging Board Meetings and other duties in partnership with Vancouver Team.
- Prepares and reviews documents, presentations, email and other correspondence for the top management.
- Manages project-based tasks to ensure the deadlines, tracking priorities are maintained and ensuring projects are completed and followed through as directed.
- Supports the top management by conducting research and analysis with an analytical mindset; works closely with other functional teams to complete ad hoc and strategic research and analyses.
- In partnership with Vancouver team, prepares Monthly and Quarterly Reporting to the Board of Directors.
- Monitor budget variances and expenditures as delegated.
- Performs other duties as required.
Requirements
- 3-5 years in a finance, consulting, equity or research analyst role, with exposure to Executive Leadership Teams Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Fluency in English.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, and good writing style.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to manage priorities and work under pressure.
- Career-oriented, hardworking and diligent in the delivery of work product.
- Flexible on working hours.
- A strong communicator at work and convincing.
- Demonstrates good judgement and common sense.
- Periodic overtime to meet deadlines or accommodate time zone differences.
- Availability via mobile device outside of office hours.
