Job Summary
- Responsible for managing all aspects of the HR function in the region. The successful candidate will lead a team of professionals and provide strategic direction and leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality HR services that support the organization's goals and objectives. The company is now operating in major cities in China.
- The Head of HR will develop and implement HR policies and programs that comply with legal requirements and industry best practices and drive talent development, employee engagement and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Manage and lead the HR team, providing coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities to ensure the team delivers high-quality HR services.
- Oversee talent management activities, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee development.
- Develop and implement compensation and benefits strategies and programs that attract, retain, and motivate employees.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations and keep abreast of changes in legislation and best practices.
- Lead employee relations activities, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and investigations.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement organizational strategies and initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field. Masters degree is a plus. Education from overseas universities (including Hong Kong/Taiwan) and prior working experience with MNC is preferred.
- At least 15 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of local HR policies, practices, and procedures, as well as employment laws and regulations.
- Demonstrated experience in talent management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, HR systems and processes, and change management.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and develop a high-performing HR team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with employees, local senior leadership, top management in the headquarter and external stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement HR strategies that support the organization's goals and objectives.
