Job Summary
A strategic and leadership-driven Director of International Sales to oversee global sales strategies, team management, and cross-departmental collaboration. The ideal candidate should have 5-10 years of experience in the LED driver power supply industry, familiarity with leading companies in the field, and the ability to expand international markets through diversified channels while efficiently coordinating internal resources to drive business growth.
Responsibilities
Sales strategy and target management
- Develop and execute global sales strategies to achieve annual sales targets.
- Break down sales goals, monitor team progress, and conduct regular reviews to optimize strategies.
Market expansion and customer development
- Lead participation in international trade shows (e.g., Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition, Frankfurt Light + Building) to acquire customers and enhance brand visibility.
- Explore diversified customer acquisition channels (B2B platforms, social media marketing, agent collaborations, etc.)
- Focus on developing key accounts and establishing long-term strategic partnerships.
Customer relationship building and management
- Establish and maintain a global customer relationship system to enhance loyalty and repeat business.
- Conduct regular visits to core clients, deeply understand their needs, and provide customized solutions.
- Handle major customer complaints and business negotiations to ensure satisfaction.
Agent management and channel optimization
- Expand and oversee overseas agents and distribution networks to optimize channel (layout).
- Develop agent policies, monitor implementation, and ensure market coverage and sales growth.
Team building and management
- Build and mentor a high-performing international sales team to enhance collaboration and problem-solving capabilities.
- Optimize sales processes and incentive mechanisms to unlock team potential.
Cross-departmental collaboration
- Work closely with R&D to drive product improvements and new solutions that meet customer needs.
Coordinate order management
- To ensure efficient execution and on-time delivery.
Requirements
- Fluency in English and Chinese (must be able to communicate freely as working languages)
- Bachelors degree or higher in international trade, marketing, electronic engineering, or related fields preferred.
- 5-10 years of international sales experience in the LED driver power supply industry, with knowledge of leading companies operations.
- Proven experience in team management, having led a sales team of 10+ members.
- Goal-oriented with the ability to break through performance barriers in high-pressure environments.
- Extensive experience in key account development and management; strong agent and channel expansion skills.
- Mastery of the full overseas market development cycle, including client negotiations, contract signing, and risk control.
- Sharp market insight and sales planning capabilities.
- Strong sense of responsibility and resilience under pressure; willingness to travel.
- Excellent cross-cultural communication skills, adept at collaborating with diverse teams and clients.
- Logical thinking, business acumen, and the ability to adapt quickly to market changes.
