General Manager, Sales
Responsibilities
- Implement company business strategy and planning.
- Product development, market expansion in China, develop new accounts, formulate sales and marketing strategies according to the economy situation, and ensure targets are met.
- Manage, monitor, coordinate and supervise all activities in the sales team and ensure that all business indicators are on schedule and cost control indicators are achieved.
- Ensure compliance and the proper conduct of all departmental operations, eliminate violations, and promptly report any special situation.
- Responsible for branding, maintaining good relationships with customers and handling after-sales service.
- Ensure profit margin is achieved and credit control.
- Participate in product development with cooperation with the R&D department.
- Responsible for the assessment and review of business order production risks.
- Coordinate with production and operation departments to ensure orders are delivered on time.
- Team building and training.
- Ad hoc project management as assigned by the company.
Requirements
- Experience in local distribution channels.
- Strong network with Chinese brands with proven sales record.
- Full knowledge of operational procedures.
- At least 3 years in managing a sales team.
- Strong decision-making capabilities.
- Effective communication, collaboration, and delegation skills.
- Ability to develop and execute business plans.
- Ability to motivate and lead people.
- Communication effectively in written Chinese and English.
