Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize rubber compounds for PCR projects, ensuring performance and cost-effectiveness.
• Drive innovation in compound formulation to meet market demands and enhance product competitiveness.
• Oversee and ensure successful homologation of PCR compounds, meeting all relevant industry and regulatory standards.
• Manage the homologation process for PCR materials used in tire production.
• Adjust and optimize mixing, extrusion, calendering, and vulcanization processes for new PCR compounds.
• Collaborate with production teams to implement and monitor process improvements.
• Lead and support departmental PCR project initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with company objectives.
• Provide technical guidance and support to cross-functional teams involved in PCR projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Polymer Science, Material Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in rubber compound development, preferably in the tire manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of rubber formulation, testing methods, and performance evaluation.
• Hands-on experience with mixing, extrusion, calendering, and vulcanization processes.
• Familiarity with industry standards and homologation processes for PCR compounds and materials.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical challenges effectively.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and deliver multiple initiatives.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across departments.
• Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
