Responsibilities
- Develop assigned styles/collections in cooperation with Product Management, Design within the dedicated sourcing regions directly with supplier.
- Responsible for proper Suppliers Sourcing to cope with Company Sourcing Strategic.
- Responsible for preparing, maintaining and follow up of all necessary documents (Style specifications, BOM, size tables, fabric and trim selection, fitting and sealing comments) according to the comments from Buying Management.
- Communicate proactively cross-functional, internal and external to ensure a smooth product development process.
- Responsible for the costing process to achieve best possible margin targets according to the company Margin Goals and supporting buyers on the negotiation to achieve KPIs.
- Ensure on-time data administration and maintenance in the Sourcing System and related IT systems to enable official Order Placement from Buying Team.
- Establish a costing matrix together with the supplier to share with the Buying Team.
- Define and Create a Material / Mould / Product Library for company to share with London.
- Prepare Product Research, Sample Comments, WIP and Production Preparation
- Prepare production planning by booking capacity and Material / Mould before the order is officially placed
- Maintain filing system and Data updating within the Sourcing Team.
Requirements
- University degree or equivalent with focus on various technologies within Apparel Production.
- Minimum 3-4 years work experience in Apparel (Woven Outerwear is a Key), with Accessory is an advantage (i.e.. Bag, Cap), with good knowledge of Product Development, Production, Quality Control, Global Testing Requirement and Price negotiations.
- Familiar with product life management programmes / software.
- Knowledge of international Apparel markets and sourcing networks, ideally with Merchandising / B2B / E-Commerce sourcing background.
- Team player with strong communication, negotiation, analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written English and Chinese language skills.
- PC literate (Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Office, Outlook and Internet)
- Willingness to perform.
- Willingness to travel (2-3 times per year)
