As a Business Developer, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and expanding our client´s customer base in the Portuguese market. You see opportunities and have the drive to make our client an established player in Portugal.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive business growth by identifying and developing new opportunities in the Portuguese market.
  • Establish our client as a recognized and trusted player in the region.
  • Utilize your expertise in the construction and engineering industry to engage with potential clients through cold calls and targeted outreach.
  • Present tailored solutions to address customer needs, including training, software, and services.
  • Collaborate closely with software vendors and internal teams to ensure top-tier service and support.
  • Oversee the entire sales process, from lead generation and negotiations to deal closure and post-sales support.
  • Work in alignment with the Country Lead and contribute to the efforts of clients international sales team.

Requirements:

  • Background in industrial, civil, or business engineering, with at least three years of sales experience, ideally in software or the construction & engineering sector.
  • Fluency in both English and Portuguese.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Construction and Engineering products or a willingness to acquire expertise.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and solution-oriented.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor communication to different audiences.
  • Customer-centric mindset, capable of building long-lasting relationships and trust.
