About the job Network & Security Consultant
Our client is an international tech consulting company with +25 years of experience offering solutions to support companies' businesses and digital transformation.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage firewall systems as part of the team driving the digital transformation of the network and security infrastructure.
- Ensure the operational integrity and administration of Data Center-based equipment.
- Daily operations and maintenance of the Fortinet infrastructure as described in the Core Infrastructure section.
- Provide consultative support for the infrastructure outlined under Locally Managed or In-Procurement Infrastructure when requested.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and inventory of all supported and managed infrastructure.

Respond to configuration change requests from the client's Cybersecurity team.

Escalate to Tier 3 vendor support when needed.
- Be available for potential inclusion in a rotational on-call service for incident prevention and response.
Profile Description:

4+ years of hands-on experience in implementing and managing Fortinet firewalls.

English proficiency at a minimum B2 level.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of network configurations, including static and dynamic routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF, particularly within Fortinet environments.
- Expertise in Fortinet infrastructure management, including QoS, traffic shaping, and web application publishing.

Management of SSL VPNs for end-users.

Management of IPSec Site-to-Site VPNs.

Excellent analytical thinking and troubleshooting capabilities.

Familiarity with SD-WAN technologies.
- Experience in planning and executing firmware upgrades in line with vendor best practices.
- Ability to recommend enhancements and architectural improvements to the infrastructure.
Certifications:

A valid Fortinet certification is mandatory.

Minimum of 3 years managing Fortinet solutions in a technical capacity.
Clear certification roadmap to be followed during the duration of the engagement.
