About the job Mechanical Foreman | EU Citizenship | Relocation
Hito Solutions is recruiting a Mechanical Foreman for one of our clients. This is a long-term assignment (minimum duration of 1 year) on a prestigious luxury residential project. The selected professional will act as the clients on-site specialist for all mechanical systems, with a strong focus on plumbing, firefighting, and swimming pool equipment. You will be responsible for daily inspections and quality assurance of the contractors work, ensuring installations are executed to the highest standards of safety, reliability, and performance, in compliance with project specifications and regulatory codes.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan & Drawing Review: Review all mechanical drawings, including plumbing layouts, riser diagrams, shop drawings, and P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) for firefighting and pool systems.

Firefighting Systems Oversight:

Inspect installation of the full firefighting network, including underground/above-ground piping, hose cabinets, standpipes, sprinklers, and fire pump sets.

Witness and verify key tests, such as hydrostatic pressure testing of the pipe network and functional testing of fire pumps.

Ensure full compliance with NFPA standards and local civil defense requirements.

Swimming Pool & Boiler Systems Oversight:

Supervise installation of swimming pool mechanical equipment (pumps, filters, heaters/boilers, and piping).

Inspect plumbing and connections for water features and jacuzzis.
-
Ensure boiler systems are safe, correctly vented, and properly integrated with pool circulation.

Plumbing & Drainage Oversight:

Supervise installation of all hot/cold water supply lines, drainage, waste, and vent (DWV) systems.

Inspect installation of water tanks, booster pumps, and heaters.

Ensure all plumbing fixtures are properly installed and defect-free.

Quality Assurance & Reporting:

Conduct daily site inspections to monitor material and workmanship quality.

Raise and follow up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).

Maintain detailed daily logs of mechanical works progress, manpower, and equipment.

Coordinate with electrical and civil foremen to prevent trade clashes.

Report progress, technical issues, and delays to the Construction Manager.

Qualifications & Experience:
-
Technical High School Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical certification.

Minimum of 10 years experience as a Mechanical Foreman or Supervisor, with strong expertise in piping and equipment installation.

Proven track record on luxury residential, 5-star hospitality, or high-end commercial projects.

Expert knowledge of plumbing, drainage, and ventilation systems.

Demonstrable experience with firefighting networks (NFPA standards) and swimming pool mechanical rooms.

Ability to read and interpret complex mechanical drawings and technical specifications.

Fluent English (mandatory).
