Sr. Linux Administrator (Remote)

Our client is an international tech consulting company with +25 years of experience offering solutions to support companies' businesses and digital transformation.

Responsibilities:

• Handle and resolve daily incidents and service requests on Linux-based environments.
• Carry out routine system administration tasks, such as updates, patches, and system monitoring.
• Ensure server reliability through maintenance, backup execution, and performance tuning.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of documentation for procedures, changes, and configurations.
• Support the rollout and setup of new Linux servers, services, and infrastructure.
• Escalate complex issues in accordance with internal procedures when necessary.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Linux system administration (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, or comparable distributions).
• Strong background in troubleshooting, incident management, and service request handling.
• In-depth knowledge of system upgrades, patching processes, monitoring tools, and performance optimization.
• Skilled in server maintenance, backup planning, and disaster recovery practices.
• Practical experience with automation and configuration management platforms (e.g., Ansible).
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python, or other relevant languages).
• Ability to clearly document technical processes, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
